The Commission Process

Art Piece -
A commission begins with a discussion of the client’s vision and concept of the project.  The meeting will include artists input, materials, size, function, budget and completion date.

Pricing -
Once an agreed concept has been determined, an estimated budget for work will be provided. The price may be altered depending on materials, last minute changes design and size of finished product, schedule completion date and delivery location.

Timeline -
Art work can be in person pickup, delivered or mailed timely and professional as agreed upon in contract. Tight schedule emergency jobs require additional cost added to estimate.

Agreement -
Art work design, materials and costs, contract that outlines in detail art work description, timeline, deposit, and payment schedule.

Payment -
Commission work is secured with a deposit of 50% of the total price. The second half is due upon completion of the finished piece at the time of delivery shipped or in person.  Shipping costs incorporated into final invoice. Payment details are specified in contract.

Art piece updates and input -
Clients will be involved as much as desired in the design and fabrication process, either through virtual or in-person updates.  It is important to note that input is encouraged though major last minute alterations will affect the final price as well as completion date.
